I read a story over the weekend that should give the rest of the NL West hope. Turns out the Dodgers are not infallible after all.

Between pitches of his first bullpen session of the spring, Shohei Ohtani often looked towards the monitor that displays pitch metrics, only to find nothing. Nothing!

He was seeking feedback from Rapsodo, the technology company that measures ball-flight data. Rapsodo products have become ubiquitous in the pro game, and the Dodgers’ two-way star now officially endorses the brand.

The Padres couldn’t stop the Dodgers. The Mets couldn’t stop ’em. Neither could the Yankees. But an unstable wifi connection? There it is. Finally, something we have in common with Ohtani.
